Thank you for heading west and joining us to celebrate! We are very excited to share this special day with all of you. LOCATION + WEATHER: Our wedding venue is in a quaint neighborhood of Long Beach, CA somewhat inland from the beach.&nbsp;Just past Long Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway is Seal Beach.&nbsp;We have chosen the more laid-back Seal Beach for our primary hotel location due to its proximity to nicer beaches and great California vibe.&nbsp; Southern California is known for its many sunny days.&nbsp;While we encourage you to check the weather closer to the date we hope Long Beach/Seal Beach will be a typical mostly sunny with ocean breezes.&nbsp;Layers are always a good idea for the early morning and evening as the fog can have a mind of its own.&nbsp;The ceremony and reception will be indoors in one location with nearby parking.&nbsp; In Long Beach, March and April offer&nbsp;mild, spring-like weather.&nbsp;March sees average highs around 67°F (19°C) and lows around 51°F (11°C), with a chance of light rain.&nbsp;April continues the trend with average highs around 69°F (21°C) and lows around 54°F (12°C), and decreasing cloud cover. AIRPORT:&nbsp; Long Beach Airport (LGB) <a href="https://www.longbeach.gov/lgb" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.longbeach.gov/lgb</a>The easiest and closest airport to fly into. The drive is about 20-30 minutes to the Seal Beach hotels and the freeway may even be avoided. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)&nbsp; <a href="https://www.flylax.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.flylax.com/</a>The airport that is likely to have the greatest options for airlines and times is LAX.&nbsp;The drive time to Seal Beach will depend greatly on the time of day. Traveling South on LA freeways on a Friday afternoon is an adventure.&nbsp;It may take longer than an hour to get down to Seal Beach but hopefully closer to 50 minutes. John Wayne Airport (SNA) <a href="https://www.ocair.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.ocair.com/</a>The typical drive from this smaller airport is 30-50 minutes to Seal Beach.&nbsp;This location is closer to Disneyland for anyone thinking of making the trip a bigger event.

Travel

We expect this to be our main accommodation for guests. The drive to the wedding venue is around 20 minutes. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk or shuttle ride away. The area is relaxed and it is easy to wander. Guests are invited to call to reserve a room with the Hellman-Zimmerman wedding block. A room block has been set aside to reserve rooms for the nights of March 27 and March 28. There are rooms with two queen beds or rooms with one king bed available. The block is for a&nbsp;discounted rate of $179.99 per night plus tax. Parking is complimentary and hot breakfast is included. Payment: Guests will call in to reserve and guarantee rooms with personal credit cards. Full payment for the rooms will be taken at check-in by each guest.&nbsp;The cut-off date is February 27, 2026 at 5pm. Any rooms booked after cut-off date will not be guaranteed group rate. One pre-authorized hold will be placed on each room upon check-in for hotel incidentals. Cancellation Policy: The following cancellation deadlines apply: Individual Cancellations (1–3 rooms): Must be submitted no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date.Group Cancellations (5+ rooms): Must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Any cancellations received after the specified deadlines will result in a cancellation fee equal to one (1) night's room and tax, charged to the individual guest. The Group Coordinator shall not be held liable for any individual cancellations. Each guest is solely responsible for modifying or canceling their own reservation and will have to pay the penalty.

The Pacific Inn

For those who wish to be in very close proximity to the beach. This is a simpler and very laid-back accommodation with a "sand between your toes" feeling. The drive to The Ebell is about 25-30 minutes. When you book on the "Guest Information" page there is a box next to the name field for special request. Add code 'Hel15' in the special request box to receive a 15% discount. Continental breakfast and coffee available all day in the lobby. Limited complimentary parking available. Please refer to your reservation/ the hotel for cancellation policy.
