Thank you for heading west and joining us to celebrate! We are very excited to share this special day with all of you.

LOCATION + WEATHER:

Our wedding venue is in a quaint neighborhood of Long Beach, CA somewhat inland from the beach. Just past Long Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway is Seal Beach. We have chosen the more laid-back Seal Beach for our primary hotel location due to its proximity to nicer beaches and great California vibe.

Southern California is known for its many sunny days. While we encourage you to check the weather closer to the date we hope Long Beach/Seal Beach will be a typical mostly sunny with ocean breezes. Layers are always a good idea for the early morning and evening as the fog can have a mind of its own. The ceremony and reception will be indoors in one location with nearby parking.

In Long Beach, March and April offer mild, spring-like weather. March sees average highs around 67°F (19°C) and lows around 51°F (11°C), with a chance of light rain. April continues the trend with average highs around 69°F (21°C) and lows around 54°F (12°C), and decreasing cloud cover.

AIRPORT:

Long Beach Airport (LGB)

https://www.longbeach.gov/lgb

The easiest and closest airport to fly into.

The drive is about 20-30 minutes to the Seal Beach hotels and the freeway may even be avoided.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

The airport that is likely to have the greatest options for airlines and times is LAX. The drive time to Seal Beach will depend greatly on the time of day. Traveling South on LA freeways on a Friday afternoon is an adventure. It may take longer than an hour to get down to Seal Beach but hopefully closer to 50 minutes.

John Wayne Airport (SNA)

The typical drive from this smaller airport is 30-50 minutes to Seal Beach. This location is closer to Disneyland for anyone thinking of making the trip a bigger event.
